Anyway, he's supposedly (supposedly because I've only seen the trailer) accusing the show of conspiring against him for ratings...

I'm buying the idea--why?

Why did it have to be another contestant to point out the books? And why after several episodes? Hello? What happened to the camera's that are supposed to be sneaking around, taping every body?

Hey Keith, how about doing the Daniel Franco comeback? Season 4?
as for Project Runway, I'm buying into the conspiracy theory--I bet "they're" going to try to shoot Angela to the top 3... good for ratings?

As for me, the show pretty much ended last night.

Maybe I'll check on the Reunion Special--watching anymore will just be too annoying--ie. they'll probably pit Angela vs. Laura (the Angela thing, its just too Wendy Pepper-esque and Laura's just anti-puppy, anti-charming people), they'll probably kick out Kayne (I like Kayne, though, nobody likes a taddle tale), and Jeffrey will probably finally win a challenge (I like Jeffrey) or some other uninteresting twist...

anywho, Keith, if anyone has the reason to prove himself again--do you still have the energy?--how about season 4?

In the mean time, get ready for it?

Finally, to the producers--with all due respect--it would have been sooo cool to have seen Keith leaving the premises (did he sneak off? or was it to lunch somewhere hip?) but where were the cameras? That would have been great! stupenduous! reality TV.

And when he used the internet, where were the cameras???

And how come the cameras didn't get the how-to books first?

Focusing too much on manufacturing the show?

I'd take Vincent's advice on this--"let it grow organically."

Well, hope to see Keith in the Reunion--great, time for me to switch to that other show, Workout?

Why does Shalla blog about Project Runway?

I've been asking myself that question, and it must be the interesting characters on the show... If Keith Michael gets auf'd, I'm sure the show won't be as exciting... Why? Well, here's something I posted on the forums that may clarify...

Keith is sooo charming... charm and talent... can get you everywhere! Good luck Keith, if I was a guy, I'd love to look like you--I'll shun the smoking though to keep the look forever

it was great fun filming project runway! it's very interesting how they choose to portray certain designers, i will say that...

most of the designers were very nice; of course i am partial to malan!

as for who gets kicked off the show this week, well it is tremendously surprising to say the least.

i don't think anyone expected it, and i'm very interested to see the public reaction to it. thanks for the comment, take care!

Was everyone ganging up on Keith Michael?

Why do they complain about him?

When Tim was complimenting his design, some of the other designers did not seem to like it (we saw Laura give a big sigh)... Jealousy?

And why did Laura feel she had to "defend (her) man" (Michael Knight) from Keith? Couldn't Michael get the sewing machine back himself? Did he have to get "bad mommy" to help him?

About the judges, I like Michael Kors, I really do, but I feel it's great you have other judges on there. I was beginning to wonder (since last season) what other top designers think. I suppose viewers just miss Kors' witty quips.

Last thing, is it just me or did Bradley's A-line skirt and sleeveless shirt reminiscent of Daniel V's winning dress from last season (the one where inspired by exotic flowers in Michael Kor's studio)

So, note to future designers: Memorize winning dresses and base your designs on them

S o far, Season 3 of "Project Runway" lacks the hilarity of Santino's Tim Gunn impressions on Season 2. But the design talent on the Bravo network's reality show is hot, and the drama hasn't been diffused.
One sleek Manhattan mama, a crafty Ohio farmer, Barbie's own dressmaker, a smug punk rocker, a pageant freak, a couple of brainy blondes and one kooky old dude make for good TV.

If that's not enough, this week's show (10 p.m. Wednesday) promises mega-drama when a cheater is expected to get expelled. We can't wait!

Reality bites

PROJECT RUNWAY: Could anything possibly be more adorable than the sight of Tim Gunn walking 13 tiny dogs in Central Park? I think not.
Not adorable were Vincent Libretti's and Angela Keslar's latest creations. Angela went for a woman-teaching-art-at-summer-camp-in-Paris outfit, but the look was more demented, crafty showgirl. Vincent bafflingly escaped the runway inquisition with a hideous black dress paired with leggings. Katherine Gerdes was unfairly booted for a green dress that was deemed too simple and poorly executed. Confidential to Keith Michael: You say you're taking a principled stand by not dressing your dog, as the challenge required. But we know you're just insecure enough to try to sabotage yourself, so you have an obvious excuse if you fail, to which we say: Boring!

There were many beautiful creations this week, too, including a sleeveless brown dress from Michael Knight, with interesting detailing on top, and a lovely blouse-and-plaid-skirt outfit from Robert Best. Alison Kelly deserved to win with a fabulous linen, silk and leather dress and jacket combo that perfectly illustrated her Japanese-fashion-buyer-in-New York narrative, but Uli Herzner won with a bohemian ensemble of clashing prints.

Have you seen the latest on Project Runway?

Keith Michael--what a name for a designer!--won the first challenge. Super handsome, super charming and super talented.

(Alison Kelly is a great name too)

Some say Keith's arrogant, I say he's confident, he knows he's good.

Then second episode, Malan--oh, I can't believe, I would have loved to find out more about your exquisite style and hear more of that laugh. (Heard it yet? He has this devilish laugh that's contagious.

What a fun show!

So many talented artists, one of these days,

maybe Keith Michael will design a dress for me.

And Austin Scarlet (from season one) you're the tops too, I know you can make me gorgeous.

I would have considered Santino, except, well, I'm into "save the animals" and he hunts, so... Santino, we'll talk when you turn vegan or vegetarian's cool too.

Project Runway is such a fun show and since there are so many super blogs on it, I felt like jumping in on the action!

Check out Blogging Project Runway. I just discovered them the other day (while googling Keith Michael) and found their insider's take enlightening.

Okay, they've got scoops that no other blog does, ie. Kayne Gillaspie's pre-teen picture when he was a cute pudgy sweetie pie. He's the guy who's hooked on pageants and, okay, he's really good. Designed Miss USA's gown for Miss Universe Pageant 2006. Kayne--you're one of my faves.

Oh Malan, I liked you too. Maybe it's the laugh or maybe it's your eyes, they look piercing, like you have intergallactic powers to turn fabric into fabulousness. So what if your last design looked like beef jerky? Every artist free falls occassionally, it's part of the swirling slurpee that is art.

It's the best--myspace.com, I mean--designers from Project Runway are on there. Zulema, Andre (where's Andre? season 2) and Chloe (winner of season 2)
